On Tuesday the 3th of February, the students of 1st of Batxillerat visited the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, one of the most recommendable places to study in Catalonia. We had to choose two degrees each student, so we could go and get information. We spent all day visiting the university and we also attended some conferences. There were people who explained to us all the topics of the degrees that we choose and some experiences from students.
First of all, when we arrived there, all students were surprised by how huge the place was compared to our high school. We were able to see a lot of services like shops, driving school, students residences, libraries, health services, gym… In other words, it’s like a town.
Secondly, most of the students liked the conferences they went to, because the teachers of the university explained the degrees with so much passion and enthusiasm, this caught the attention of our students. However, students realised that the access mark was very high, however this fact really motivated them to study more and have more goals.
To sum up, our experience has been amazingly good and we’ve got a lot of information about the degrees we’re interested in. It gave us a closer look at our future into a university by knowing how it looks and how it works.
